Help?........With Gardening......

Another lovely day here in Cumbria, because of the heat I try to walk my guests in the morning and today was no exception.

I still have Molly and Stella here for their training and today it was Molly's turn to be walked separately from Stella and she did very well, so I will be bringing them in together to work very soon. They go home in about 8 days and I know that their owners can't wait to see their "new" girls!

I treated myself to some plants today and I had lots of "help" planting them when I got home! Its amazing how much pleasure a plastic plant pot can bring especially with the plant still in it!! Fortunately no harm came to it but of course it was my girl, Tilly, causing the chaos.

Little Buddie went home today, he had a wonderful time making new friends here and didn't really want to go home, but I am seeing  him again next week when he comes with his owner to start his basic training.

I am being kept really busy at the moment which is great, I don't think I will have time to see THE WEDDING!! but I wish you all a happy Bank Holiday.

The Italian Connection - Harry the Spinone

Let me introduce you to Harry, an Italian Spinone. Harry arrived yesterday for a day's "try out", prior to any long term boarding. He's as gentle as he looks and those eyes .... ! Janet

"Come on Chief, smile !!"

"Come on Chief, smile !!" That look from 9 mth old Chief tells me I'm lucky to take even one photograph of him ! Chief is just one dog who has stayed with me since the New Year, either for boarding or residential training. Nearly all can be seen on my Cumbria Dog Training Facebook page, and with a husband who is more than cabaple Peanut enjoys the fells. Meet Nala, a beautiful Portuguese Water Dog, who, at 7 mths old is still displaying alot of puppy traits. She's staying for a 24 hr try out and has fitted in really well. I'm pleased to be able to say that Peanut is staying with me again. This young Cocker is such a lovely girl who makes herself right at home and gets on so well with everyone, both people and dogs. And finally, time for my own girls !

Summer 2019 - sunshine and showers

How wonderful to see a dog express his enjoyment at being in water as much as Bear does. This youngster loved our muddy ditch and ran up and down constantly. But then came the washing and drying of Bear and the question "why did I allow him to do that ?!" Bear .............and then there was Murray ! Murray Heidi, a recent residential training youngster, loved to let off steam by jumping through the air for a tuft of grass. This Munsterlander was quite a sight, as her long legs allowed her to get quite a leap. Heidi Mick, enjoying some playtime in the heather ! Mick Bert is famous ..... well, in a way he is.
